SOME COOL WAYS TO REUSE LEFTOVERS
In today’s time, leftovers have become a routine outcome of
our busy lives. Demanding work schedules and other commitments have shortened the
amount of time spent in the kitchen. That’s why more and more people these days are
comfortable with leftovers than preparing food all over again.
Listed below are some of the best ways to revive your leftovers:
Rice
Preheat your oven to 180°C and evenly spread leftover rice
into a baking dish. Loosely cover with aluminium foil and make a few holes for
the steam to escape. Allow it to bake for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, uncover and stir gently with a spatula. Bake it for
another 5 minutes.
Meat
Heat up your chicken or fish in a moderately hot oven (about
200°C) in a baking dish. Add optimum amount of water (take care not to dilute your dish), cover with aluminium foil and bake until warmed through.
Pizza
Preheat your oven to a low broil, place your pizza slices
into a cast iron pan and heat it in the oven. The cast iron helps in making the
crust crispier while the low broil makes the cheese fluffy again.
Pasta
Heat about 1/4 cup of tomato sauce and double cream, allow it
to a simmer. Then add leftover pasta, stir and cook for some time. Your pasta
will become saucy again and ready to eat.
